We all have to be prepared for the worst. In 2 years or less we will be seeing hurricanes of category 6 to 7. I know it sounds strange but the Earth is kicking back for some reason or reasons.

Amen. That's the word. Because they look at our government as their saviour, instead of trusting in God. But when it hits the fan. There won't be any mercy for them.

Why don't we change our policies humanitarian efforts the US helps everybody all the time and I love that but these countries that don't help and that can be there within 24 to 48 hours the sort things out and make their lives a lot easier I don't see no other countries helping so maybe we should. Not help those super power countries in their next disaster it is so thoughtless

This death toll is gonna be close to 3000. They have no idea how many Haitians were living in those shanty towns. Just plywood walls and tin on the roof. Maybe even 10k. This is like going backwards 100 years

He is behaving as if they dont have money they are the richest islands in the world and all he is talking about is getting the island back together so they can start making money off tourism, he is a narcissist and dont give one iota about the people.

They gonna get an offer to help fix it. Then they gonna make them sign the country over for 50 years or more like the cruise lines did. All that did was bring people over buy a few trinkets ride around And you gained what. The prime ministers done sold land to these people for who to gain.. don't let anyone come and take more of the land. They gonna build high rises you won't be able to afford and push you back into the Bush life.

Our prayers go out to all those who are affected by this deadly disaster! This appears to be Haiti all over again! A multitude of charity’s collected donations, and what for?

They didn't get help for many weeks because the roads where impassable for heavy machinery. And that was on land. This is a small island with very limited resources. Give me a break ... they are doing what they can with what they have available.

Large machinary almost impossible to get in.. they say streets are lined w a ton of dead body & a large # of them are babies & small children.. w the Carnage I can't see how they can still live there disease will run rampant.

Which requires houses to resists winds up to 150 miles or a Cat 4 hurricane for several hours . The worse scenario happened at the areas where illegal aliens lived as the Mudd . Most of these houses could not resists a Cat 1 Hurricane . Less a Cat 5 for 2 days . Which was accompanied by a huge storm surge to worsen things  .
