                                        that's completely alright to use prawn or lamb as a replacement of chicken. you can even use minced meat(beef or pork).

                                                                    I wouldn't put a chicken stock cube in it. To enjoy the Indian curry, you need to add a bit more of the ground spices and use red onions instead of white. You get a much better flavour using the red than white onion. Another thing, once you've chargrilled the chicken, leave it in the curry itself for about 30 minutes and you'll see a difference in taste. The chicken will be more succulent and juicy. Love your videos. Keep up the great work guys!

                                                                                    you guys should try a Bengali style chicken curry made with crushed mustard seeds. It's the basic base, onions, ginger/garlic paste, green chilies, whole cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves. curry base - equal parts powdered coriander, cumin, red chili, and about 1.5x more turmeric. best way to get strong mustard flavor is a mix of black and yellow whole mustard seeds crushed with mortar and pestle, or coarse grind in a spice blender (much better than mustard powder). for amounts, I guess two medium onions or one very large Spanish onion for two medium (2-3 lbs) chickens (cut up or the equivalent amounts of thighs, legs, etc.), 4-6 green chilies, a table spoon of all the powdered spices (more of the turmeric), 2 tbsp mustard, 5-7 cardamom pods, one whole cinnamon stick, about 8-10 cloves. mix chicken really well with all the powder spices, mustard, salt and oil (you could opt for mustard oil too here), let it sit for 10-15 min. cook the basic base with any oil you like, pour in the chicken and spices, stir it till there is some good browning or crust on the chicken and spices have cooked a bit. then add a little bit of water, try to keep somewhat of a thicker consistency, or not, if you a like more liquid curry, then add as much water as you like (I recommend about 1/3 -1/5 the way up to the chicken in the pot). salt to taste of course, cook till chicken is done and flavors have melded. you can garnish with fresh coriander leaves, serve over rice and enjoy! and my amounts are a rough estimate, you guys have made loads of curry, so I'm sure you can adjust it for what you think works best. I hope you guys make this, it would be awesome to see what you think of it.

                                                                                      to get the red color on the chicken you can use "kashmiri pepper paste". it is not spicy and imparts a very bright red color.
