This is great going back to after Sunday. I had some unsullied friends complaining last week about how the show was hinting at Danny going mad queen and how nothing in the show had been leading to that point.

But you DID say the Unsullied beat the Dolthraki and then the Golden Company beat the Unsullied... so Shawn made a good point.

@22:55 hit the nail on the head Aziz........ Dani brought the Red Keep down on Cersei and we see here and Jaime buried in the rubble......honestly a lil disappointed but could've been worse

The show has been bad since they ran out of material and if they turn Daney crazy in such a short amount of time it will hatchet job by yhe writers. Also John Snow for life my favorite tv and literary character of all time.

That’s Varys being questioned and then we’ll get that shot of Drogon lighting him up out of the darkness. #prediction

The tragedy of Danny is actually that she didn't really want the throne in the beginning. She only wanted a home. She just came to believe in what she was told was her destiny because it was thrust upon her because of dark magic and her dragons.

I wonder if young Griff could turn out to be the real Aegon after all and he redeems the Targaryen name by killing Mad Dany to save King's Landing.

I oddly want Cersei to live if she's not burned up by dragon fire. Any death she receives will just make people complain so might as well leave her alive

Didn't Arya follow facelessman protocol atleast according to the books? To my knowledge any aprentice is allowed to stop their faceless man training, if the aprentice says they will stop.
Wich was what Arya did when she stated to Jaqen that she was Arya Stark of Winterfell and was going home.

I don’t want them to go the Mad Queen route, but I can see in the next episode some messenger coming to her and telling her Meereen has fallen back into slavery, then she just snaps.

Are you kidding? I'm even more on Team Dany now that I was before. The writing is rushed and problematic as fuck. Her sudden demise is just not realistic. Her death is predictable as hell. But at this point, I would gladly watch her burn them all motherfuckers. Even the Stark became the new Lannisters with their "she's not one of us" bullshit.

Also, Dany should have never listened to Tyrion and Varys. They were the worst advisers EVER! Hope they both die.

I ve read the first chapter more than I can count, I think Illumination is something to do with Sansa, The red sword of the hero. Jon/Sansa force is the receipt of Illumination. George keeps says she is the key of the north, THE KEY. When Jon first chapter describes the feast, he talks about his sibblings partner (Tommen/ Arya, Robb/Myrcella) and says about Sansa she is "radiant" and we know that the sword has to bright. The sword is not a sword it is a combination of their forces. Jon is the prince who was promised in order to fill this prophecy. I know the fandom hate the Jonsa thing but Daenerys is more like Calypso for me than anything else in Ulysse path and I Think she is the one who has to destroy Euron in the book. It's pity that Euron looks like shit in the TV show. Sansa has to break the identity promise to forge lightbringer

Tyrion is probably my favorite character, but in Godfather parlance, he’s not a wartime consigliere

Euron may not be looking at a dragon, but at a projectile launched by Yara's fleet. Ship trebuchets? Maybe editors were being sneaky adding the dragon sounds in the preview trailer.

Sansa is the new more beautiful queen to replace Cersei in the Maggy prophecy, as they have set up Sansa as a good leader that involves herself with daily mundane leadership aspects of ruling. (maybe this part)... Arya will be the one to kill Cersei wearing Jamie's face, therefore, fulfilling the little brother and the little sister part of the prophecy which can be interpreted as either sex. And it is poetic justice.

The Battle with the Others wasn't the real Ragnarok event, but this battle is. Still... this story isn't just about this 'human' battle and only defeating Cersei. For a lot of this the reference to 'the Lord of the Rings' is pretty misleading and sometimes pretty unhandy. Cersei = The Lion of The Night. But the 2 thrones must be brought down : The Iron Throne, the object, aka the chair of swords as well as the idea of 1 single ruler who despotically sits on some different fancy chair and has all the power.

The way Dany and Jon have been 'stuggling' with the new information of power relations and what to do during these demanding times, hasn't been all to easy. Especially with Dany having been so adamant on reclaiming the Throne. But... don't be fooled, this battle has more to it than just the one in the Realm of Men.
There are still some things that need to happen or a more magical order too. Where LML was wrong about the battle against the Night King and the Ohters, he wasn't completely wrong either, just had the wrong battle. Bran still needs to burn. However, not really his physical body. That likely will be found lifeless at Winterfell and it's even likely that the 'mark' on him will be tought of as the Night King's power eventually having gotten to him, as some sort of infection. But that's not really it. He still needs to warg Drogon. But the dragon must also be around the right place.

Dany's dream of he throne room in ashes is a dream of death and desruction. It's still would make her a 'Queen of Ashes' (and a dead love and child). This also fits with how barren she is. The dragon must be wounded and weakened, while she is riding it amidst smoke and salt, for Bran to be able to warg it. It's not Dany herself that must die, i'm suspecting she will land in water (either in the sea or in the water of the God's Eye). All magic has a price in GoT and warging a Dragon from a distance isn't easy, especially because 'Dragons are no slaves'. However, Drogon must be wounded (Nissa Nissa aspect being stabbed) so Bran can take over. The dragon is the last, but essential part. Remember Septon Barth's mention of there being dragons from the earliest of days in Westeros, even from before Valyria came to be a power? Well turns out that actually Westeros was the real birthplace of dragons. Giants, Wildlings, CotF, Direwolves and a ton of other creatures amongs whom dragons and humans (who had the ability to warg) were all sired by Brandon Of the Bloody Blade who was the original progenitor who mounted... his sister of the Blue/Red Lake. She was his Nissa Nissa with whom he forged a lot of bloodlines and that even until eventually he forged Lightbringer with her. It may have wounded her but she lived on by warging into a different creature. Some say she became a crane. Unfortunately.. some of the creatures Brandon had sired had been warring amongst eachother. And eventually he had to make the sacrifice to chase several of them, amongst whom the giants, away up North. And a pact needed to be made between him and several of the children he had brought forth. The pact for coexistence was made and agreed upon with his children. He divided the land and built structures tha would ensure the pact. However, there also was a price agreed that needed to be paid for the violations of several of his children having severly misbehaved. He had already punished some of them enough by banishing them. He cared too much for his children to demand any more sacrifice from them, and as a decent father he offered himself up to take the punishment and make the sacrifice himself. Finally his punishment was that he only could feed of his own youngs.

Brandon of the Bloody Blade = Brandon The Builder = The Night's King (who was turned into a rat's cook),
The Creator - The Stabilisor - The Destroyer, as such are the Three phases/ faces/heads of the Allfather
Realm of Men - Realm of Magic -Realm of he Underworld >> all are entertwined

And the entertwining of these realms means:
there is a sequence of events needed for the right con-sequences to happen.

To some he is know as Hykoon the Hero, to others as Azor Ahai, and still others know him as Bael The Bard.
The stories about him are many several are twisted. There are tales of him being the Last Hero, yet others point to him as a Rat's Cook or some forgotten sinister King who loved his corpse bride and sacrificed his children.

So you think that the Battle with the Others was just that? You really consider that the Battle in King's Landing is just the minor battle of the two? Prepare to be surprised. Because this is the actual battle for Ragnarok. In GoT the Realm of Men, The Realm of the Underworld and The Realm of Magic are entertwined. Winter or 'the Long Night' has not yet ended at all. The Lion of The Night is still ruling and punishing The Realm of Men with all it's cruelty.

That army needed weeks (many months, really) to recuperate and gear up again, at a minimum. At least take the time to create a better strategy... she had dragons AND Bran for reconnaissance - and she still gets surprised by a fleet of gigantic warships from under two miles away.

Hound loses to The Mountain, Greyworm defeats Mountain.

Cersei kills Tyrion, Jaime kills Cersei.

Gentry sits on the throne with Arya as his Honor Guard.
