Ticket system crashing——— Nope! I don’t see that happening with the SW new movie. Not because the system may be better this time but because I don’t think the new SW has all the sick hype Endgame had.

If you can’t find his cameo in the Incredible Hulk then look it up and you will find it. It’s a blink and you’ll miss it moment in the movie though

John, don’t be a hypocrite, we got the Martha scene. It’s just awful. It’s not that it’s communicated poorly. It’s just bad writing. Just like John always says ‘oh no I got the film’ when people say he doesn’t, it’s fair to say that people who say the Martha scene ‘got it.’ It’s just a bad moment in an awful movie. You can’t play it off as ‘I got it but other people didn’t.’ The vast majority of people got it, that’s why it’s such a joke in cinema now.

Now Francis Ford Coppola adds on to Scorcese's comments by supporting him by saying that comic books are despicable. I love old classics, but both of aforementioned great directors do themselves no favor with their comments. If anything, those comments make them appear angry and jealous.

@Alhawaii It is sad really that people like you seem to be intentionally seeing only one side of the issue and (here's hoping I am mistaken) appear to be blind to what I've written above. Go ahead, judge, say what you will, I couldn't care less even if I wanted to. There is a place for every kind of movie genre under the sun. It's too bad that neither Scorcese nor Coppola want to see it (and apparently you along with them) and are afraid to step out of their boxes. Have a lovely day and, please, spare me of your biased opinion and do not comment under my reply anymore. Thank you.

Hmm that’s why people including John are getting super tilted by legendary directors saying it isn’t real cinema.. haha hey, if you love your generic overplayed comic book movies go ahead, there’s going to be plenty more garbage headed your way for you to watch

@Alhawaii Thanks for making me smile (first time today :-))))))): by calling me a salty fan of MCU lol. I love MCU, but I am far from being a salty fan. I love all genres of movies (except, maybe horrors - not my thing). Anyway. I respect both Scorcese and Coppola. I'd known them as directors and their movies for decades before I've discovered MCU this year. I understand what they're trying to convey, but they're kind of failing at it. Also, as John has mentioned many many times, MCU isn't the only brand releasing the comic-based movies, but through their success they've become ubiquitous and a very easy target for being a scape goat for anyone hating on comic movies. Also, Coppola saying that these movies don't teach the viewers anything at all is not true: at the very least they teach that decency, friendship & so on are better than greed and ever-growing strive for power (among many others). It's just that they teach that through this medium based on comic books material, adapted for today's world, though not always applicable in real life.
Also, if MCU would suddenly disappear, it wouldn't make other movies automatically more successful. Another "MCU" or something alike would take their place. Anyway.....

Kitty nah it’s their opinion, salty MCU fans like you need to get over it. They’re overrated and have pigeonholed cinema into a weird trend where normal movies get shit canned but cgi filled superhero movies do well. It’s hurting cinema

I am always confused when John talks about everything being a cinamatic universe. There is only on! DC clearly gave theirs up. We have one universe. What's wrong with Marvel doing something different?!?!

I think that Black Panther had a better plot built around it, that had more to say, than Avengers: Infinity War, which was AWESOME, but was more of a heist film. It makes sense to me why it got the nomination over Avengers. I still agree, though, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse should’ve gotten a REAL Best Picture nod.

Football is the only sport I watch, I do watch basketball when the finals begin. So I understand why some sports you only watch when the playoffs start.

I thought Ant-Man and Wasp was the best comic book movie of the year lol. It's a continuing theme. Incredible Hulk superhero movie pick of the year. Watchmen superhero movie pick of the year. Kick-Ass superhero movie pick of the year. X-Men first class superhero movie pick of the years. The Wolverine superhero movie pick of the year. Birdman superhero movie pick of the year. Logan superhero movie pick of the year. Ant-Man and Wasp. And I've got to say for me Glass is the superhero movie pick of this year.
it seems to be a continuing theme that the most underrated movies are the best.

Zevia Cola is okay but it tastes nothing like a Coke or Pepsi. So if you're looking for a it to replace those for the flavor, it doesn't do it. But it's ok and nice that it doesn't have all of the chemicals and artificial stuff in it.

Your entitled to your opinion just like Scorsese is his, but do you know how many shared universe movies came out in the last 3 months? One!, that's only if you count Hobb's and Shaw as a shared universe movie, more like a spinoff one franchise, otherwise it's literally Zero. More comic book movies came out in the past 3 months. You have to go all the way back to July to find one in Spidey FFH. Not defending either or here, I love both, I do prefer most comic book films to be shared, but I'm not gonna hate on Joker cause it's not, instant fav actually. It just sounds like Scorsese complaining about CBM's, where are all these shared universes invading the cineplexes you speak of.
