What’s your least favorite thing about cilantro: its flavor, its known toxicity, or its role in the subprime mortgage crisis?

My least favourite about coriander is that people don't like it. I love it and fortunately most of my (remaining) friends also love it :)

@Sam Swomley Thank you ... "Do you want white cilantro rice or tomato cilantro rice?" No, I want a real choice.

Baby cilantro? Then I am pro-infanticide.

The least favorite thing is when you don't expect it in something and then it shows up so finely chopped that there is no picking it out without tweezers.

Was great! I live pretty rural, so much so that the three people I talked with about curry, and myself, thought it came from a ground up curry plant previously. Thank you for expanding horizons.

Only when I shifted to UK and saw frozen food being sold so much I started respecting the effort and techniques put into Indian food and I started respecting that.

Yeah, it's a good thing refrigeration of produce hasn't caught on in India. Everything still comes from local farms and markets (for the most part). And nobody stores their food for more than a couple of days, even in restaurants. Looking at all the frozen food that Gordon Ramsay deals with in Kitchen Nightmares makes me want to throw up.
