It is truly wonderful showing appreciation for such lesser-focused-on professionals. Really, I tend to show appreciation to anyone who I find needs it the most.
For example, every single restaurant I got to, where service comes and cleans up your table of plates etc., I look them fully-focused in the eyes and say "thank you!" about twice.
Because why not? Whether we are successful or not, everyone has their own story and struggle to which making them feel appreciated should be done any ANYONE!!
