I am at work at 2 am and I just realized something, Dany did not go Mad or decide at the last second to burn the City...She had it all planned and wisely too...go back to 8/4 ending Missandi yells Dracarus..a message to Dany...Her head gets cut off...look at Danys face as she walks away..it was the same look She has on Drogons back as the bells are ringing, also She planned this out because The Main bulk of Her unsullied did not fight..they can be seen marching into the city last, Dany let the northerns do most of the fighting...She very Smartly preserved Her unsullied for Any fall out or betraying after Her Major attack on the city...last ..when Tyrian pleads with Her in the chamber if She hears the bells to call off her attack..She never says ok or a word She gives Grey worm a look and a nod like " You know what to do Grey Worm "...Her attack was well thought out and planned after so many betrayals and Good friends killed...The only ones who never whispered behind Her back and stay 100 percent loyal were Massandi , the Unsullied and The Dothraki...everyone schemed , whispered , plotted , lied , let down , or betrayed Her...Mad Queen? NO...FED up Queen YES :)

So people are calling Her the Mad Queen...but think about this....with Her 3 dragons , Unsullied and Dothraki She could have taken the Iron throne with ease....but instead She bent over backwards to Help Everyone and Her reward was LOVED ones killed , 2 Dragons Killed , Her Heart Broken , and Betrayed by Everyone else....If You asked Me They are to blame.

Why do people say " innocent people"? Yes some children are innocent, but almost everyone in Kings Landing ate far from innocent. They have proven repeatedly they ate degenerates, and trashy. Even a lot of the children. Theyve proven it over and over.

In Dany's vison you first see the North beyond the wall, then the throne room and thirdly, the scene with her son and drogon. I think this implies she'll die, she'll go to Drogon

Remember how Sansa betrayed Arya over her fight with Joffry which costed her direwolf Lady.
Sansa betrayed her father by running to Cersi after she'd been told they'd leave for Winterfell.
She did this because she wanted to be with Joffry, to be his queen, a queen.
Sansa looked on and played the game when her aunt was killed.
Sansa now betrays Jon within the day after he just asked her to keep a secret.
Don't expect any honesty from Sansa.
                She's jealous about Dany.

That is Not Snow, the show wants us to think it is, but its ASH. Cersie has used Wildfire on the city to destroy King's Landing so that Danny has nothing to gain.

If the author was being serious in saying the show will not end much differently than the book, it is a bittersweet ending, and that only minor characters and arcs would change in the show because of format constraints, Dany will survive to the end.

I invested some long weekends binge watching. Series isn't as bad when you aren't waiting years and being frustrated the series didn't go the way you wanted. I have enjoyed so far, but flopping hero's and villains to the point they have will make for an unwanted finish. But we shall see. Don't want bran on the throne as he has no emotion, empathy or diplomacy. Danny is a tyrant, Tyrion is a drunk whore chaser, sansa is a mini Cersei, arya doesn't work, and sadly John doesn't seem to fit that far south. And to be honest who wants the ash heep? They have no choice but to end it on a bad note, I can't see a real positive ending

Jamie is intercepted on his way to KL and brought to Dragonstone where he faces questioning by Dany. He says he is going to stop Cersei but Dany doubts his motives. He is imprisoned but Tyrion helps him escape as Jamie had helped him. This angers Dany who banishes Tryion after telling him she intends to destroy King's Landing and everyone in it. Tyrion leaves to find Jon to inlist his aid in changing her mind. This threat to King's Landing leads Varys to make up his mind about Dany. Varys informs the Golden Company of Jon's true identity. The Golden Company breaks their contract and swears loyalty to Aegon Targaryen (The Golden Company was founded by a Targaryen exile). Dany and Drogon destroys Euron's fleet and the Red Keep killing Cersei and Jamie, but is injured and forced to land in KL. Greyworm and the Unsullied attack in and attempt to rescue her which triggers Cerse's preset wildfire trap which kills them as well as Dany and Drogon and burns KL. Arya and The Hound sneak into the Red Keep and kill Gregor but Sandor is injured and Arya is forced by Sandor to leave him behind in order to escape the wildfire conflagration. This time she kills him to spare him death by burning. The episode ends with Jon being proclaimed king. In E6, Jon sets up a council to rule the 7 kingdoms, and abdicates the throne as foreshadowed by his resigning as Lord Commander of the Watch. Sansa as Lady of Winterfell represents the North on the Council. Tyrion represents the Westerlands. Sam is made Lord ot Highgarden and represents The Reach, Gendry represents the Strormlands, Yara represents the Iron Islands. Robin Arryn is placed in Yohn Royce 's care and Royce is made Protector of the Vale and represents the Vale on the Council. Edmure Tully is released by Tyrion from his custody at Casterly Rock and restored as Lord of the Trident and represents the Riverlands, and I suppose the new and unnamed Prince of Dorne may be invited as well. Since neither Cersei of Dany won, Bronn gets neither Riverrun or Highgarden. Tyrion offers him Clegane's Keep which is now vacant as consolation. He refuses and leaves threatening to get what is due him one way or another. On his way through the Riverlands, he is killed by Nymeria's wolf pack. Arya leaves to find what is west of Westeros and Jon heads north of the Wall to find Tormund and Ghost.

Nah, I think Jon will kill her after she claimed the throne because he'll see how a threat she'll become to the Seven Kingdom by succumbing into madness. And then he'll realize after that that she's pregnant with his child, making it bittersweet. Jon will be sent back to the Wall for his crime and will reunite with Ghost because there is obviously a reason why Jon didn't properly say goodbye to his loyal Direwolf.

                                            Remona Stormborn  6 months back

Dany 'helping' was not some generous charitable move worthy of respect or of being queen. The threat was to _all_ the living. She, as but one of the living and was in as much danger as anyone else. Her belief that her helping somehow makes her more important than anyone else is one of her flaws. Does anyone else in the realm expect to be king or queen in exchange for their assistance?
What makes the throne hers? Her desire for it? Her birthright to the throne? If she thinks her birthright is the reason (which she does) then she has to acknowledge that Aegon Targaryen, now that we know he exists, is actually the one with that birthright. Refusing to acknowledge Jon's birthright to the throne makes her claim as bad as Renley's or Stannis's or even Gendry's had he wanted it. The moment she insisted he lie (by omission) to his family about his birthright she became no better than Cersei. She will not get the throne. Had she chosen, instead, to be honest and negotiate a deal for co-ruling or some such an honest deal she would have been all good. She's made the wrong choice and will now die.
The plot theme of the story is 'what does it take to be a good king/queen/leader' and the answer to that question will dictate the end of the story and who will sit the throne.

Daenerys' story is the tragic villain arc. She was never supposed to rule, but events make her believe it is her destiny, and only tyrants and villains talk of their destiny to rule over others.

Remona Stormborn Dany's moral compass is always someone outside of herself. Ser Baristan, Jora, Tyrion, Misandei etc. When she doesn't listen to them, she doesn't just make mistakes, she kills people. I never understood Dany being a fan favorite. She's an awful leader and would no doubt become a despot given time and the deaths of the people around her who serve as her moral compasses.

Tyrion looks at her that was because ONCE again his advice backfired...it was his idea to meet Cersei and try talking first...this made it possible for cersei to execute missandi right in front of Dany ..Tyrion and His lets be diplomatic shit cost Dany again...that is why He is looking at the dragon queen like that cause He thinks His little goose is cooked.

In Essos the people loved her and saw her as their queen... But not in the Seven Kingdoms, she said it herself, the people look at and look to Jon they way did her, on the other side of the sea, but not here.

I think John is gonna kill Dany, and then the seven kingdoms split and there's no true king. Maybe Sansa and Tyrion have some sort of treaty to keep peace between the kingdoms.

I think there is some kind of intervention where it looks like she is dead. We move to Esp 6 with some kind of epilogue where she ends up in Bear Island or something with just her child and content. Jon is already dead. No more of the walking dead nonsense. He can't keep living. Bran needs to go somewhere North and sit in a tree. You can't have him with a normal population. Drogon needs to smoke Tyrion and Varys

Last season very heavily foreshadowed Dany and Jon having a child. I think the writers are still going to pay that off.

Each season foreshadowed something that was subverted by the next. Example, Season four left us to believe we were seeing the rise of dark Sansa, season five said not quite. Season Five left us to believe Jon was dead, season six said not quite. Season six lead us to believe Daenerys would arrive and overwhelm Cersei, season seven said not quite. Season Seven left us to believe Jon and Daenerys would have a magical baby and the Night King was the worst threat ever...Season eight says, not quite.

And she's not getting the respect she deserves from the North. Or varys. Hell, she coulda taken the throne by surprise and easier had she not made the detour w jon. She coulda actually done both..dethrone cersei quick then help the North. She's about the light shit up. Honoring Missandeis last wish. I dont blame her.
