As a Dodger fan. I hope we found our answer to Bumgarner with Walker Buehler

        I would say Bruce Bochy's managerial moves--for all THREE CHAMPIONSHIPS--were 90% correct.
Sheer brilliance from a HOF Manager.
        Enjoy your retirement Bruce!

I can't wait for the 2019 World Series Game 7 rewind. Nobody can convince me that was not one of the biggest upsets in baseball history.

Would have enjoyed a little commentary on how Bumgarner kept climbing the ladder on Perez at the end. First base open -- an anxious rookie at the plate: B was not about to give P *anything* to hit. P chases up-&-in once ... *twice* (more up-&-in than before) ... & the third time: the foulout to end it. AND THEN Perez wins WS MVP the following year. Sweet Redemption.

Well done ... except: Alex Gordon, inside-the-park home run in the 9th? Really? SS receives the ball as he is arriving to 3rd -- and you keep suggesting that they *might* not have held him at 3rd? What baseball planet do you live on, SB Nation?

Correction. Jeter would go on to ruin the Yankees with giving us a sack of worthless human cells called " Geancarlos Stanton".

I think they missed out on the Royals and Giants former World Series. It felt incomplete. They focused more on Game 7, not the past years like they have done with others like the 2011 World Series.

The ASG part didn’t really matter since they would’ve had home field even if that wasn’t the rule at the time. They would’ve had it regardless, so the whole serving Jeter meatballs is a little irrelevant

Doesn't matter if his regular season stats fall short of other guys, dude will forever be a legend in baseball after what he did in 2014.

See, this is an odd statement. A shallower outfield would have prevented him from tagging up? No. The ball travels the same distance. The deep outfield doesn't change where the outfielder catches the ball, the ball will end up there anyways. If anything, a shallower outfield means the ball goes off the wall, is a homer or is a tougher catch for the outfielder. The distance of the outfield does not "allow" anyone to tag up. It just changes what the result is. This is hard to explain, but you focused to much on tagging up in a deep outfield. In a shallow outfield, if the ball is caught, it is still the same distance from the infield even if it is farther or closer to the outfield wall.

This commentator showed a play of Infante slipping fielding a ground ball as evidence of the Giants making errors? Cause that makes sense.... Literally shows him not touching third yet when Crawford has the ball. So Crawford has no arm all of the sudden? He has had one of the best SS arms since joining the bigs but all of the sudden he can’t throw a ball 150-200 feet? Wow.
