          Clean and press is my favorite. I never got hurt doing it, could do 225 no matter what probably 280 if I trained at it more. I am genetically predisposed to be more quad dominant in my lifts and I'm sitting here hurt from deads.

                    Its good to hear a sportsperson able to talk coherently and not resort to repeating phrases that they hear their sports psychologist say. It's not necessary for athletes to be rocket scientists but sometimes you hear them talk and they are just literally regurgitating things that keep them safe.

                                            Anyone who is new to working out please don’t listen to this guy and take it as fact there is so much misinformation in the fitness industry. This guy is talking about from his perspective he deadlifts fucking cars, and 890 pound barbells. Deadlift is a very core exercise the trick to not fucking up a deadlift is knowing how to do it and practice do it with little to no weight start there and build making sure you do it right.

                                                        He’s just saying don’t lift heavy, you can still deadlift lighter and do 6-10 reps and gain a lot of benefits from that you’ll build a stronger lower back, glutes and hamstrings but if you’re going for 1-2 reps then you better be doing it perfect otherwise you’re gonna snap ur shit up for no good reason

It should be treated like alcohol regulations, because people are going to do it and we might as well regulate it and accept it as an industry... It will benefit us more this way

                                                                            bro hex bars are way more dangerous for deadlifts. Just get proper form on conventional dls. When you finish a conventional deadlift the bar weight hangs in FRONT of your torso. With a hex bar its hanging on your side and could potentially go behind your torso, which would 100% give you an injury.

                                                                              1.promotes cortisol and is not benefical to hormones like testosterone
                                                                              2.increased chances of strain and stress on the body
                                                                              3.body temperature increases

                                                                                Robert seems pretty cool and i mean no offense but deadlifts are good for you allso i like the fact he is a rocker (back on topic)its quite beneficial like any excercises if you do it correctly and wisely like not overdoing it also they work many of the major mucle groups and it makes you stronger however you must use proper form and equipment and perhaps most importantly listen to your body and dont over work yourself also deadlifting improves your hormones and powerlifting with the big 3 deadlift especially being one of if not the saffest excercises weightlifting is certainly more dangerous/risky especially with higher weight remmember do what you can manage
