        Always use bone in meat and this dish although British in origin it should have kashmiri mirch as the chilli powder and some kasoori methi so similar to butter chicken.. NEVER EVER OVER COOK CHICKEN and rest it like you would a steak

                  We always pound the chicken breasts to the same thickness so they cook more uniformly and it also tenderizes the meat.

                              I use coconut cream at the finish, it adds a little sweetness, so no brown sugar is used in developing the sauce. It balances well with basil or cilantro.

                                      I have to ask, based on my own experiences with eat Indian/Punjab (Punjabi?) dishes - the color of the chicken is usually bright red (tandoori chicken) and the sauce is usually orangy. Why do the color look switched in your recipe? Still looks great!

                                        I love the fact you explain to Americans why you add "more" chili powder, because for me there is never too spicy, and the note about the yoghurt softening the spicyness is good to know. Cute comment about what ginger looks like - "Don't be rude." I chuckled on that comment.

                                                                            Is it Ok to cook what ever left from the yogurt with the Sauce ? or put the yogurt inside the bowl with the chicken in the oven ? or do I need to get rid from the Yogurt that has been marinated when I put the chicken in the oven or the pan ?
