The Surface Pro X looks REALLY cool to me. Looks like a great fit for a lot of people and probably a better productivity device than the iPad Pro. Which is your favorite product from the event?

Use case for the phone is clear to me. I constantly use 4 apps simultaneously for planning truck routes. I have to account for traffic, weather, tolls, fuel stops, and other info. It's tough to do all this while constantly switching apps. I think I'm gong all in on Microsoft. Just wish I could get Google off my phone for real this time.

The neo and duo looks perfect together. For some time, Samsung has tried to bridge trend towards mobilization while keeping a laptop capability through dex. But the additional screen just isnt suitable for many who watch tv, but done sit next to it on a desk. Who still need a decent size screen like a laptop, but not always the 13-15" variety as their work is at the office but documents sometimes needs to be processed at home. The usage case may be a middle management worker who rarely needs a laptop, but when they do, a 8-11" screen is all thats needed (not a 32"+ monitor and definitely not a dedicated 15" heavy (2kg+) laptop. Its hard to describe, but I think the neo, with its larger screen, mobility, Windows based OS and handover capability to the duo, seems to hit the sweet spot... for me at least. It now depends on the UX, programs ecosystem and hand-over smoothness AND OF COURSE PRICE. I geuss MS has learned from their Windows Phone failure by releasing it early to developers and leveraging it off the Google Play ecosystem! Very much looking forward to replacing my defunct macbook air 2011 with these two. Im even willing to consider switching my Note 9 given Dex has been underwhelming for me.

I was very disappointed by the upgraded surface tablet lineup. While they have finally included a type c port, it's still lacking thunderbolt support. The SSDs haven't been upgraded in years and are tiny, even on the top end model. SSD and ram size upgrades are extremely expensive and usable SSD sizes are restricted to the i7 model. Overall a very disappointing event for a lover of the Surface Tablet.
I've held out on upgrading my Surface pro 2 for years, hoping Microsoft would get their shit together, sadly the didn't so I'll likely switch back to a regular laptop.

I like the looks and indication Microsoft has been doing. I will be switching from iPad to mprox and I will be changing from my iPhone to the duo. That device looks perfect for things I like to do. Apple is pretty boring these days

The Surface X on itself is cool. But compared to the Neo and Duo it already seems outdated. Definitely looking forward to the Duo the most. Perfect device for my multitask lifestyle.

I think Microsoft should add a full USB port and headphone jack to the surface pro x. And the device is super expensive since you have to buy the type cover and pen separately.

The dual screen tablets look ultra-cool! But the small screen of the Neo coupled with the (probably) lower powered CPU, to me, means that it's a niche product. For the road warrior who doesn't need much compute power and hence not for me. The Duo looks really interesting! Like it's meant more for a corporate user than a consumer. The ability to use Outlook on dual screens (list of emails on one side, a selected email on the other), or have two contents (e.g. email/browser on one side and Word/Excel/Powerpoint on the other) showing simultaneously just means it'll help workers be more productive on the go.

The Surface Pro X looks so nice and thin. If it's as powerful as they claim, it might be my next PC!

I dont want to spend 3 000$ on something i cant upgrade later - like a RAM. This is for people who wants to look fancy when they watching the NetFlex or Youtube. I need something to work on. But... battery is just perfect for me on this LineUp. If i want/will to buy one of these it would be Laptop 3.
But you can't have the best of 2 Worlds. We all want sometnig Thinn and Light, Battery Life 15+ and GPU when we want to play. And to upgrade later on.
I haven't seen something like that... So i will wait... I hope 2020 brings something new. But till then... Lenovo T480... i am happy :)

The surface lineup needs to support a docking station with external video card pipeline. if I could dock my laptop, and make it my main gaming computer when at home, that's the money shot. I should be able to plug and play the latest n-vidia or AMD graphics with my laptop. Externalizing a pci-e 16x should be no bother. money shot.

You now basically need a google and a Microsoft account to use this device. It just doesn’t seem like a Microsoft product.

What most people are going to end up doing is buying this device and not running many Microsoft services on it.
