the books had him meeting ilario mopantas the fat lord who sells danearys to drago then becoming a slave who rides a pig and jousts another dwarf not doable in show but there was so much more material for tyrion

There is a mistake all clever make, and contrary to Tyrion, this mistake is to underestimate the power of stupidity.
Almost everyone who criticize works of fiction and try to give a reason for it, sometimes criticize something that is completely stupid, utterly improbable to be made by sane people, and almost like it were for that exact reason, is exactly what happens.
A kingdom ruled by an emotionless magical entity who is able to see the future and the past, and see through the eyes of animals whenever he wants to without anyone knowing, and people hoping his intentions are good based on not much, looks exactly the person EVERY COUNTRY PEOPLES FIND THE PERFECT PERSON TO VOTE FOR. People who are an imperfect copy of that ideal being are the ones who get the best results in any election that takes no skill or experience in consideration. This is exactly what would have been done by the naive "good hearted" people who would think it is the best decision, and to this day, the kind of role model the people give millions of likes in YouTube when it comes to economy and politics.
If there is one thing that made game of thrones terrible, is how much it declined from a good show to a depiction of mass thinking stupidity we get in real life.

D&D screwed up the moment they cut out key elements of the books. Lady Stoneheart, Sand Snakes, Jeyne and creating a ridiculous version of Euron. Just so much wasted material. The show should have been 10-11 seasons.

I was really bored watching this. Went into it knowing people’s qualms with season 8 and I was bored for 6 or so hours. Sansa and Bran were some of the dullest characters arcs I can imagine.

Don't get me wrong Walder and his nearest kin are scumbags but their reasoning isn't too out there to be honest.

the idea that it was the focus of dnd that needed to change when the components changed is a valid one. i can't believe dnd are stupid or unintelligent by any means, just that ego told them they got this and no.

HBO is losing money over GoT. They had to canceled the White Walkers' prequel because nobody cared about them anymore. Thats hundred million dollars of potential revenue went to dust. If theyre smart, they really should considered the possibility of remake season 7 and 8 with proper writers.

Like what's said at the end: the SHOW deserved more. That's how hard of a drop the later seasons' writing was. It's not just what the audience deserved, but the story and show itself was failed by the later writing.

oh shut up, i love season 8 and the finale, even dany love it, because she is o much more interesting as disney villain, emotionally complex, jonery was hot garbage, and she dared to say sansa name and take over her home, lets take a breath, and look at game of thrones, starks are the heart of the story, good people good hearts, we knew from the beginnign who jon snow parents were, ned stark said, you are my blood, but not my name, so ned stark has two dead sibling because of targaryen madness, so jon snow is either brandon stark son or lyanna stark son, who was kidnapped at the harrenhall tournament , and raped and imprisioned by rhaegar targaryen, after he publicly name her the queen love and beauty with crown of blue roses, song of ice and fire is rhaegar and lyanna stark, love jonsa, love sansan, love sanrion, love theonsa, hate everything about dany, she is chasing after something she doesnt even want, or is good at, she set fire to people who disagree with her, and her mate, she wants as pet dog, which is jorah or darrio, im happy jon got a happy ending with his best friend and friends beyond the wall, and his cousin sansa, who he can marry, and have kids with, can pardon him at anytime, but i get why people are upset, dany has been evil since season 2, she is targaryen crzyness, when she walked into funeral pile, made her son a blood sacrifice, and calls her dragons her children, who she uses as military weapons to kill peopl

Despite the Hobbit - I would end the orcs as follows, the true KING takes his place and in so doing destroys the dark evil energy that was giving the orcs life - we didnt see female orcs, we didnt see copulation - we were told they were created by killing the ancient forests and with the dark magic of Sauron so it follows - with those all ending thus do the Orcs.... not that complicated.

To be honest there was still a lot of source material from the books they just cut it took out a lot of characters and combined their roles that were originally intended for different characters.

To be honest, as a fulltime psychologist, the way you rationalize is pretty impressive. Well, most of the time. You reflect in a very reasonable and mostly understanding fashion, but the arguments you make lack evidence and reliablity. For example, you say that season 7 is garbage, but you provide only 3 or so main arguments, but have no examples to back your arguments. You also say that surprise is one of the main things that makes the later seasons bad, well i saw the series, and i must be honest and say that i was not surprised all too often. I could debate and discuss this further, and i would be happy too as i have convinced a lot of "fans" on numerous occasions, but your video seems almost entirely based on anecdotal arguments. Then again, i love the way you reflect and rationalize as i mentioned earlier, unfortunately you are too emotionally invested to have an unbiased standpoint on this topic. Nevertheless, all the best :)

I know Jon never wanted the weight of the crown, but that makes him all the better to rule. He ruled from a place of intelligence and knowing what needs to be done to accomplish the goals of saving westeros and his people. He didn't rule with his own needs and wants in mind but on many occassions was happy to use himself as a sacrifice for the greater good and the final council chooses to punish him for, YET AGAIN, going against his own heart and killing the person he loved ready to risk the wrath of Drogon for the death of his mother, all to save the seven kingdoms from a repeat of history of a Mad Monarch. Yes he never wanted it and maybe its a tiny bit of a happy ending for Jon to just disappear into the north where he found a part of himself in the early days, but come one instead of sending him off ask him to take the place of king bran can go live in a tree pondering his not giving any f#$ks about anything and put a ruler on a throne who even if he hated having the power he would still act for the greater good of the seven kingdoms. So tell greyworm to grow back the pair he lost head off with his unsullied because he wasnt staying anyways, and let this council force/put into power the man who is the literal song of ice and fire Jon "Aegon Targaryen" Snow!

George and HBO, ultimately, gave way too much creative/executive control to D&D, and the show runners. Who seemed to have looked to the normie fandom for ideas on how to wrap things up.

Presumably, Disney wanted them on board, and HBO either couldn't offer enough to make them stick around (in comparison to a Disney Paycheck), or wouldn't pay their increased fee in light of the growing discontent with the show.

Tag passiert. Ich hoffe ich schenke DIR Glück👍🍀
