You would think It would be easier to change our immigration laws than to change America . However , the elites have determined that immigration is like the weather , unchangeable . We just have to deal with it .

I despise trump but your speech is hypocritical of Democrats and Republicans who ignore atheists and tramples over us. For all your righteous attitudes and equality why doesn't anybody lobby for the non religious people? Why does any president have to say amazing grace. The US founding fathers weren't even mostly Christian's. They were atheists who would get burned at the stakes so they believe in a God. John Adam's himself said that the US was not in any way a Christian nation. Atheists have been persecuted for all of US history. Americans despise atheists more than homosexuality and is the second most despised people in the US. Just below Muslims. What have we done? We've helped question the Church and look where we are now? George H W Bush when asked about Atheist rights said, "No I dont know that atheists should be regarded as citizens, nor should they be regarded as patriotic. " so while Democrats and Republicans refuse to step up for our rights as well we lose custody of our children due to us not being moral enough. We can't hold office because 50% of the US refuses to trust us.

I support all your points but why can you violate my second amendment rights. "The right to own guns shall not be infringed" if you want to ban guns amendmend the constitution first. So while law obeying citizens like us give up our means of protection, insane people who wouldn't give back guns get to keep them? How does that stop gun violence? That'll just charge a school shooter with another law that they broke after they had done the shooting. Last time at the Texas church shooting a good member of society shot the shooter before he could finish the job. What we do with assault rifles and etc are our business unless we break the law. I dont go to people's houses criticizing how they live because that their right as private citizens. The NRA are jackasses who dont care about the American people but that doesn't mean you can infringe upon our right to own guns.

We need to stop with all this so brave talk when certain "personas" get all access passes to tout this lock step messaging which all contradicts itself.

Can't lose it over children torn from their mothers at the border then push for abortion.

Can't talk law and order on guns and then talk about going easy on car jackers and robbers already here and at the same time ignoring crime sprees and the re emergence of diseases because of illegal unvetted entry into this country.

Can't talk about education reform while flooding the schools with more protest culture than academics.

Can't talk inclusion right up until you reach an idea or a person you don't feel has a right according to who they are or what they think.

Why ban rifles when less than 5 percent of gun homicides are committed with rifles ,
Why not go after handguns that kill more people , or yet , enforce laws vs felons
That commit 80 percent of gun homicides , why not do something about inner city
Crime that accounts for a disproportionate number of death, this lady is blinded by

                          god she’s such a *racist*

Ayanna pressley claims she wants to end racism and segregation. however she said these exact words in a speech (you can look it up) “we dont want any blacks who don’t want to be a black voice, we don’t want any brown people who don’t want to be a brown voice, and we don’t want muslims who don’t have a muslim voice.”
do you understand what she just said? If you are black and don’t speak for black people than don’t speak at all, if you are muslim and don’t speak for muslim people then don’t speak at all, if you are brown and you don’t speak for brown people then don’t speak at all.

in simpler terms, if youre black and don’t speak for blacks then you shouldn’t speak, etc etc.
In other words, ayanna is saying that your free speech should be limited by the color of your skin. you should only stand up for people of your own skin color.

she claims she wants to end segregation and racism? by limiting human rights based on the color of your skin? do we really want someone with this mindset running our country?

Her stance on gun control is really smart and she is so well spoken about it! The right's argument to gun control is there are more instances of community gun violence than there are mass shootings. She is really smart to address both saying yes these are both problems and we need to approach gun control from both angles.

You know what is really cruel ? Not going after the real problems or taking away the real things that are killing people. Not legalizing marijuana federally and forcing citizens and children to continue dangerous Pharmaceutical drugs, not going after tobacco the way the go after guns. These are the public health crisis guns don’t even come close. Her statistics are also not true, passing an assault weapons ban would cause thousands of deaths not prevent them

Why do the people who are most marginalized (POC) always have to fight and protect against "WHITE PEOPLE'S" evil and wicked policies. Why don't so-called "WHITE PEOPLE" know how to show empathy? The problem with this colonized racist nation has never been people of color it has always been white supremacy, institutional racism, and white entitlement/privilege of an inferior race of people who call themselves white to give themselves a false sense of superiority. When in fact white supremacy, institutional racism, white entitlement/privilege is truly the cancer of human history. Why don't so-called "white people" go back to where they came from especially since they are the colonizers, murderers, rapist, racist, liars, and thieves?

Do not take our guns, it will not solve a damn thing. If murder is the intent the gun is merely a tool to facilitate it. That person will still inflict harm with or without a gun. Also there is about twice as many people in New York city than there is in all of New Zealand, so I am calling that a bit of unfair comparison of how to deal with gun related violence in the US. Putting a ban on assault rifles would increase disparity in peoples opinions on a relevant issue which would probably increase the underlining conditions for acts like mass shootings to occur. However, without a gun to facilitate such an act to occur your forcing to either deescalate or escalate which in the case of an already unstable mind would more than likely be the latter so casualties would probably increase as well. Gambling like there are no consequences is what this government does best anymore so it would appear.

The problem is that the "causes" she describes and the "effects" are merely excuses to push this narrative. There isn't a slingshot effect on that list of issues she named; everyone who encounters a villain or adverse conditions in their life doesn't become evil; the majority don't.

And again it's peddle to the floor laws and insane premises for " gun violence" while still pushing for criminal justice reform in areas raught with crime and the solution is something else other than addressing criminals.

This is a 90's WWF rant to cast personal choices as mental health issues; it sounds great if she's your favorite wrestler, but this is standard "straw purchase" policy.

They can hold their heads up high in the midst of all the corruption, chaos and painful embarrassment this country suffers every single day of the tRump Administration

Sorry to tell you that if you want to make the world a better place start with yourself. Hint stop shitting on others. You want something work for it. Someone had to work for what you been given. Our ancestors would commit suicide if they seen we were the end result, wanting safe spaces for trivial everyday inconveniences while they feared getting eaten or attacked when they slept. Us "my life is over someone called me a name." Bad shit happens in life, deal with it.

But, it's clear that democrats & republicans don't care about the People. A majority of them probably got into politics to enrich themselves & to live above the law... The same law they are supposed to be upholding. A gang of well-dressed wolves & hypocrites who fancy themselves as our leaders.
