  • HIGH CRIMES: Nixon’s White House Counsel John Dean appears before the House Judiciary Committee to lay out ‘remarkable parallels’ between Pres. Trump’s potential obstruction of justice as documented in the Mueller report and the acts of obstruction that led to Nixon’s resignation. Dean was a key witness and whistleblower during the 1973 Watergate hearings.

This is going to be a sad time for Republicans in our history, if there is a Republican Party. Trump has been playing these games since he was a kid. He always picked a different name & use it for some business & to call into different places to make himself look better. John Barron & John Miller are 2 I know of.

As indirect as it is, I find it instructive that it seems to be only the Republicans that repeatedly refer to the fact that the underlying evidence produced by the Mueller investigation is being withheld by AG Barr. Just saying.

tRump has been telling us just exactly what he's going to do since 2018. He has no intention of leaving office even when/if he's voted out. What's he going to do? He's planning to "postpone the 2020 elections". You don't have to believe me. He's joked about "tacking on a couple years" to his administration in just the past couple weeks. Google it.

The republicans rather slim defence seems to be,”if the investigation had been prevented all this evidence against Trump would not have come to light”.which coincidentally is also bollocks.A very embarrassing day for all republicans with respect to their personal credibility as to honesty .

                    Not just one day
                    But the last 3 years.
First they said he will never win the Republican nominee
                    For President.
                    And Then it was
he will never be the Presadent.a
And then when he did win.
It was well he will crash the economy

Excuse me mr. johnson, the Dems are getting legislation done unlike the repugnants when they were in the majority. This also is NOT a WASTE OF AMERICA'S time. We need checks and balances and the Dems are the only ones who are doing the "critical" work needed to be done and will provide oversight into a criminal administration.

John Wesley Dean III (born October 14, 1938) is a former attorney who served as White House Counsel for United States President Richard Nixon from July 1970 until April 1973, known for deep knowledge of events leading up to the Watergate burglaries and the subsequent Watergate scandal. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) considered him the "master manipulator of the cover-up".[1] His guilty plea to a single felony in exchange for becoming a key witness for the prosecution, ultimately resulted in a reduced sentence, which he served at Fort Holabird outside Baltimore, Maryland. Shortly after the Watergate hearings, he wrote about his experiences in a series of books and toured the United States to lecture. He later became a commentator on contemporary politics, a book author, and a columnist for FindLaw's Writ.

There was no interference that had an impact on the election results. The Russians did create a number of social media accounts to cause confusion, but just as many of those accounts purported to oppose Trump as did support him. Liberals are just upset that they lost. They actually did the same thing back in 2000 with George Bush. They lost, couldn't accept it, kept forcing recounts in Florida in desperation, and when the recounts were finally called off they cried the same tears they're crying today.

You also mention the investigation hampering the President's ability to conduct foreign affairs - particularly with the Russians. Would that be like the day Trump had the Russian Ambassador, the Russian Foreign Minister, and a TASS photographer in the Oval Office (with no American journalists allowed), and he told them that firing James Comey the day before had taken the pressure off?

Priorities Mr. Collins? Trump lifted sanctions against Oleg Deripaska, has slow-walked other Russian sanctions voted for by Congress, and has done next-to-nothing to enhance our cyber security ahead of the 2020 elections. I'd say that the Chairman's priority in looking at President Trump's conduct in regard to Russia and its attack on our country is exactly right.

Mueller clearly stated that the only reason they didnt charge trump is because he is a sitting president and that under DOJ guidelines there is no mechanism to remove trump other than Congress. With 11 attempts to obstruct, Mueller left it in Congress hand to impeach first. It is clear.
