I'm curious if a man who drives a tractor for a living finds mowing the grass R n R.

Have you thought of using a harrow, I think that's what it called, to break up the crusty top of the soil?

Some states have "no helmet" laws I understand. I just thought a father and husband might want to take the extra protection.

The pre-millennial tool used instead of a sump pump to drain water from a hole when I was farming was called a bucket and rope. Worked great and never popped the gfi. Cheers...

If you drill small holes in a bucket then set it in the hole by auger and fill around the bucket with gravel it will be easier to pump out.

I believe the seat weight switch is a requirement from the standard manufacturers must abide by. If not, they are doing it purely for liability. I agree though, those things are annoying. Somehow my father got around it on our little lawn mower though.

I would love to be around all that beautiful equipment, helping out, fixing stuff (I'm a Master Mechanic/Fabricator) I also really enjoyed watching you talk with your father. I would give all I owned just to be able to do that one simple thing today. Anyhow...let me know if you need a hand Zach...You work too hard !!

I don't know if the switch is the same but just find a way to jam it down and if your not sure if you got it try to start the tractor with out any weight in the seat I should start and let you put it in gear with out stalling
