I hope you like this video! I know its a bit more serious than some others ones but hopefully its still an enjoyable watch.

Also, people have been asking for them, so I’ve put a link in the description to a copy of the script with sources in footnotes. I’ll be doing that for every video from now on.

Please also go and check out backblaze! Sponsors make this channel happen (seriously) and Backblaze is a legitimately good product that I’ve used for a while so at the very least go and try them out with their 15 day free trial. It helps both me and you out.

technically to defeat and occupy russia wouldn't you just have to invade the Western quarter? like Napoleon and Hitler tried to do.

The biggest problem Russia has is its own political culture: corruption, gigantic nepotism, lack of rule of law and business traditions. And aggressive imperialism to cover it all in the eyes of its citizens.

If Russia were smart, they would join the West. There is no way Russia if ever going to be invaded by Western Armies ever again. Does anybody think that the countries of Western Europe have intents on the invasion of Russia. The threat to Russia is from the Islamic Countries to the South and the Chinese to the East. Why the obsession with Western Europe? Germany will never again be a major military power. The German Military can barely control Germany and it's ONLY going to get worse.

Just get some one that is fast and quick to take out one person at a time to attack a country all you got to do is stab and hide and use Bows and arrows for stealth kills. Sometimes speed is a bit of a key but there is more to know tactics and other things may come into play.

On 6:05 you said the Sea of Japan is controlled by Japan, that is wrong, it has only the name "Sea of Japan", but it is controlled by international law. For example in Korea it is called 동해 바다 (the Eastern Sea). And also the islands of Dokdo (Takeshima) claimed by Japan, and controlled by Korea (독도 in Korean) - how Korea can control them if the Sea of Japan is controlled by Japan?

@No1important88 St. Petersburg has acess to the sea. It has a huge container port. Kronstadt, the navy port nearby, is ice-free the whole year. But it and Kaliningrad (Prussia) have the same problem that was relevant to this video: Their acess to the world sea is controlled by Denmark. Hence why I think it's not important to raise it as a point.

Militarily though, they suffer the same problem as St. Petersburg, so they were just not an interesting point to raise in this video.

The moral of the story is Russia is huge but most of this land mass is useless and brings no benefit. This land is more a curse than a blessing. This is why Russia has always tried to occupy Eastern and Central Europe as well as the Baltics. Those areas have great economic value, high population density, and important industrial cities. Why build a new city in Siberia, in terrible climatic conditions, if you can just take a completely developed city from Poland or Lithuania? Of course it’s unethical to take somebody’s city and deport the population to Siberia, but ethics have never bothered the Kremlin.

Russia kinda never abandoned this idea of being the state for all Slavs, especially with the Third Rome doctrine.

We have the same basic needs and desires. We all needs food on the table, we all want good health and happiness for our loved once. So i dont see why we should not all united. One world, i am tired of this split and rule need. Our goverments dont help us, they hurt us. I love all people in the world. Its the goverments i dont aprove. One world, one people.
