Think Story the ending was bittersweet. Yes, Danny killed millions of unarmed civilians, but so has literally everyone/anyone in charge of a army during a long term war. She wasn’t evil because of it! The final season did have some stupid moments in it. Tbh everyone is making me but hurt by critiquing it so much tho....y’all expected a happy ending where everyone lives? Come on you guys, it’s game of thrones not twilight!

Your analysis of Sivan season eight was spot on, the writing was to her aid, it was all special a fax and no substance, most of the characters that have been developed over eight seasons were totally ruined with out of character behavior and irrational behavior and dishonorable behavior, everything was out of character the writing was terrible the production and delivery was terrible the special effects were good but there was no substance behind it the whole season eight just seemed just hockey and it almost just ruined the whole series

I won't understand how they turn her character who was cool until after she EP 4 onwards.

But it was a well thought out, and honest vent. And you are not alone in the way you feel.

Some good stuff here, but complaining that Varys ain't Tyrions friend was so stupid.

I gotta disagree on the Sam being GM part. He deserted the Nightswatch and the Citadel and is like 30 years old with no experience as a maester aside from pulling scabs off Jorah. He would have been executed multiple times for either desertion in seasons 1-6 but they stopped giving a shit about consequences. Scrubbing chamber pots apparently=character development though so I guess anything goes.

The whole season sucked. Horribly written, and rush-crushed into a horribly shortened run. Nothing made much sense, everything was just done to get Daenerys to burn the city for REASONS so they could do cool fire and explosions... they substituted shock and spectacle for substance.

Kit got it right when he called it "disappointing"... except I'd give it 2 words... "EPICALLY disappointing"

That is ash on Drogon, because he has been guarding Dany in the Throne room for a long ass time until John finally works up the courage to confront her

Can we talk about Arya having no purpose in this entire season and stealing space, except getting to kill the night king? How ever ridiculous that was.

I think that’s a great rewrite of the last season except I’d change one thing. I’d have Danny destroy the iron thrown to complete her arc. She realizes that absolute power corrupts and she establishes some sort of check on a monarch’s power. Otherwise everything else is spot on.

throughout the whole series, Dany's character was built in a way that she could be either, or. After her dragons died, she changed for the worse and ended up dead, killed by no one else but her own love, Jon Snow. that's how it should turn out. Originally I anticipated Ayria went up the stairs and assassinated her in front of the army, but that wouldn't be good both for herself, and not true with her character (because she respected Jon Snow, and would let Jon Snow deal with his queen.)

I believe Daenarys offered the independance to the iron island as long as they stop attacks on the other kingdoms.
I don't belive a scenario where yara just accept to "reintegrate" a now-six-kingdom.
What about dorne which is the most fiercely independant of them all ?

                                                                                          Here is my ending........

                                                                                          1. The white walkers attack winterfell leading to that Dothraki scene (this would make more sense and it would go according to plan) then I would have jon kill the night king.
                                                                                          2. Jamie never sleeps with brienne. It felt forced and doesn’t match Jamie’s arc. Jamie was working towards becoming a better person, he wouldn’t fuck brienne over like this. I would have had Talmud sleep with her bc here’s why———/ he has always respected her from day one, has always thought of her as a true beauty, and brienne deserves to be truly loved
                                                                                          3. I would have skipped the euron killing Rhaegar scene. I would have just jumped to the part of where Dany tries to reason with cersei (leading to the musindae death scene). I would then have Dany attack the iron fleet, leaving Rhaegar dead (makes more sense when thousands of ships are shooting at this dragon and actually succeed rather than euron just taking one shot and killing him lmao)
                                                                                          4. I would have shown the true power of cersei. I don’t know how but I would have had her win the first battle, in a strategically brilliant way, making new her even more egotistical. In the end of the 1st battle, I would make aryra sneak into kings landing along with Jamie (I do agree with Jamie going back to cersei)
                                                                                          5. After the battle is won, Jamie and cersei have a heart to heart moment with cersei explaining to Jamie how she lost their child through a miscarriage but now is the time to finally be together and rule the world. Euron walks in expecting to marry cersei when cersei tells him how dumb he is to actually believe she would marry him. Euron thinking Jamie is the only thing standing in the way, attack’s Jamie. Euron wounds Jamie and cersei kills euron. While cersei is watching Jamie die, aryra pays her debt and kills cersei leaving cersei and Jamie to die together.
                                                                                          6. The golden company along with the iron bank now have the throne. Aryra learns of their plans for when Dany returns, so she goes back to dragon stone.
                                                                                          7. Dany now rearmed with more men, heads back to kings landing, where she losing the battle yet again. They manage to pin her and drogon in a corner, giving Dany no choice but to burn the red keep. Wild fire soon ignites and is connected throughout the city, ultimately burning the city down to a crisp.
                                                                                          8. Dany is on the brink of losing her mind. She believes she has finished what her father started. (I would make it clear that it was her father who buried the wildfire throughout the city) she thinks this, because after the city crumbles the only thing that remains is a huge heap of wildfire that spells out targaryen. (Her father made sure that after burning millions alive, that this heap of wildfire would burn for weeks, making it a symbol of the Targaryen power)
                                                                                          8. Tyrion and all the others are in a state of shock. Quickly, Tyrion and verys spread conspiracies that Dany has turned mad and that she did this on purpose.
                                                                                          9. Jon talks to Dany and brings her back to reality. Dany then comes out and makes a great speech, leaving everyone rest assured that she is who she has always been, breaker of chains! The crowd goes wild. She sits on the throne, and begins to rule.
                                                                                          9. Dany becomes pregnant with jons baby. Tyrion and verys cannot kill her bc of this.
                                                                                          10. Aryra and Gendry sail west. And Dany refuses to give sansa the north. She gives it to Tyrion and verys. Sansa plots to kill Dany along with Tyrion and verys. Dany finds out and bc of their status, plans for a trial.
                                                                                          11. Dany suddenly gives birth and dies. Jon ultimately gains the throne, and he is holding his baby girl.
                                                                                          12. Jon finds out the plans of Tyrion and verys and forgives them marking it a new testament to the Targaryen name. He exiles them instead from kings landing and they both sail off to high garden where they become brons advisors.
                                                                                          13. Brienne is the knights guard along with Talmud and she finishes Jamie’s story in the knights book.
                                                                                          14. Bran becomes king if the north with sansa as his advisor. Jon explains that he should have had her head on a platter but chose this instead. He then reminds her that he will always love her and they hug.

I know my ending may not be perfect but hey at least it’s better hah dumb and dumber version
