applause and kudos to the mom because I know there is not a single father out there who would have stuck around when things have gotten this hard for their child, it would have left probably, as they all do when things get difficult.

Because a mother's love and bond toward their child is overwhelming that it has to be very obvious from various perspectives to convince them that they are a victim to their child or that their child is recklessly unable to live life functionally a normal life.

Imagine having to go through that every day thinking that this is how it's going to be forever and that there has never been found a solution to this kind of behavior to finally realize there is in the flick of a switch.

That is the first time this mother had hope for her child, for herself, for her other children. Dr.Phil gave her her light at the end of the tunnel. I feel for this mother. For once this is a parent who had tried everything that was at her disposal and wasn’t finding answers and Dr.Phil has given her the one person that will give her those answers

I'm on the spectrum myself so we're like the blind leading the blind. There's no help...I've been trying and trying for years and years without getting anywhere. Then when these kids snap...they blame the parents when there's honestly nothing we can do.
