When you talk about 4 days a week for men, how long is each workout? For Aniston you said an hour but how long for Miles Teller / Bradley Cooper etc? 90 Min? Including warm up?

        Two things stand out:

1: I enjoy learning about Celebrity Trainers and their clientele.

2: VF needs to stop with all of the jump cuts. I want to watch, and learn, but jumping so much is distracting.

Matt Damon's physique is obviously one that is characteristic of a steroid user. The traps and the shoulders are a dead giveaway. It's really hard to hide that in a steroid user.

                                                                                • Martin Lange

If they've never been big and suddenly get big, then yeah its gear. But as a lifter you know it's MUCH easier to regain lost muscle than it was to gain it for that first time. So look at their previous physiques and judge off that. Damon didn't get to a new level of fitness for him, he just returned to one he'd achieved before that role.

You don't take a person in their 40-50's that's high body fat and injured to shredded in 4 months. It takes years. Making film is all about deception and making the audience believe a staged scenario. Creating the physique for movies are no different. These trainers are contracted with the film studio who's marketing campaign can't tell you they used steroids, lightning and visual effects cos then people lose familiarity with the actors which is bad for the marketing. Don't get me wrong, these actors put in a lot of effort for the sake of training, but it's most often to loose body fat. It's all about tricking you to believe you can look this way as well and create a familiarity with the actors for the sake of publicity. Don't believe people who are faking for a living how you to can be whatever you want. These people are filthy rich, living in celebrity baubles without much contact with the reality of the common man.
